For example you could:

• Become a SSAFA Forces Help Volunteer – we have three different types of role – one might be right for you!

• Run your own event in our benefit - like running a Marathon, holding a coffee morning, organising a fashion show.

• Spread the word about the work of SSAFA in the Garrison through social events like coffee mornings, afternoon tea parties or evenings over wine and a good movie!

• Help with national events like the SSAFA Big Brew Up

• Out and about?  Could you help us with poster campaigns and leaflet drops?

We realise that people want different things from from their lives...

Some want just to get involved in a specific event or fund raising campaign, others want to be involved on a long term basis across a wide range of our fund raising activities, awareness campaigns and organizational and practical roles. 

Others may feel drawn to a particular job such as administration, or doing street collections, and some may feel that they aren’t sure what skills they’ve got, but want to give some of their time towards helping others. 

Some are able to devote many hours to volunteer work, while others can make only a limited time commitment, perhaps only in the evenings or at weekends.

Whoever you are, and whatever your needs, we are committed to finding places in our organisation where you can make a useful contribution, feel good about giving your time, and make a real difference to your Community.
