One thing we think is important is that all the money we raise here at Catterick Garrison is spent here on the Garrison. We are your local charity working every day to make a difference to everyone who lives and works here. Our fundraising takes a number of forms: We plan and run events some small and some large - which we hope are not only fun to attend, but also provide a great social experience whilst raising money. Why not come along to our next event and help support us? We also have a number of street and house to house collections each year. Do you think you could help us by spending a few hours of your time with a SSAFA bucket in your hand? Its a great way to meet people, and our volunteers have a great laugh with local shoppers and passers by.
We also have a number of Charity Boxes in local shops, restaurants, bars and venues. Do you know a shop or business who would be happy to have one of our collection boxes on their counter? Please do contact us to let us know. Also, if you spot one when you are out and about shopping, dropping in a few coins from your change all helps to give us sufficient funds to continue our work. We ask for donations. Be they large or small amounts, your money will make a huge difference. A donation of just £10 for example, can mean that our Community Volunteers are able to provide lifts for people needing to visit an injured relative. We also ask for individuals and companies to covenant a specific amount to us each month or quarter. Covenants are particularly helpful as they allow us to guarantee each month how much money we will have to fund and support our work here. Covenants can be from as little as £5.00 per month. We benefit from the efforts of other people too. If you are planning on running a
